For some years now we have been observing an enormous increase in the number of refugees in Germany. The people who flee their home countries due to war, hunger and persecution leave their social network and everything familiar behind in order to start a new beginning. Once they arrive in Germany, many are left alone with their problems of their new life. Overstrained authorities, xenophobia, fear of the future and language barriers are just some of the problems that refugees have to deal with every day. Through different projects such as Christmas baking, we are repeatedly engaged in open-minded integration of immigrants in Hamburg.
